Cold Kitchen Prep Chef - Salad Station

About the role

The Cold Kitchen Prep Chef – Salad Station will work full‑time on‑site in Amman, preparing and assembling salads, cold dishes, and garnishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. The role supports the all‑day dining operation by ensuring freshness, safety, and consistent quality.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, cut, portion, and label vegetables and other ingredients.
• Set up, restock, and maintain the salad station throughout service.
• Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and plating guidelines.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of fresh produce.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory checks and ordering as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in cold‑kitchen or salad preparation, including basic knife skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage for fresh produce.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and commitment to station cleanliness.
• Team‑oriented attitude with clear communication skills.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred; culinary training is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
