Data Collection Enumerator – Syria & Iraq

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development Center (SRD Center) is seeking Enumerators to support a market analysis study of agricultural value chains in Syria. The role involves conducting one‑to‑one interviews using tablet‑based questionnaires and KoBo Toolbox software.

Key responsibilities

• Gather data through face‑to‑face interviews using online questionnaires on tablets.
• Participate in training sessions and apply the training during main fieldwork.
• Manage all materials related to training and field data collection.
• Assist the project team with additional tasks as required during the field phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Computer Science or Social Sciences).
• Experience conducting face‑to‑face interviews.
• Ability to engage senior management, government officials and private‑sector stakeholders.
• Knowledge of quality requirements in horticulture and livestock value chains.
• Willingness to travel and work in target regions.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Experience with computer‑assisted field data collection.
• Familiarity with KoBo Toolbox and tablet‑based questionnaire tools.
