Electrical Engineer – Design Team

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will join the Design Team to deliver electrical building services for mixed‑use, hospitality, residential, commercial, healthcare and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for producing calculations, design drawings and technical reports while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical system concepts through detailed design, including power, lighting, emergency power, earthing, lightning protection and low‑current systems.
• Perform load schedules, voltage‑drop, short‑circuit, lighting and cable‑sizing calculations.
• Prepare and update design drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and participate in BIM coordination and clash‑resolution workshops.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, AV/IT and security disciplines.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, design narratives, BOQs and specifications.
• Attend internal coordination meetings, conduct site visits and assist with RFIs and construction support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi codes, international standards and client specifications while following QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–6 years of experience in electrical building services design, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Experience on GCC/Middle‑East projects is an advantage.
• Strong technical aptitude, good communication, team‑player attitude and attention to detail.
