Freelance Translator

About the role

We are seeking a professional Freelance Translator to join our team in Amman. The role involves delivering high‑quality Arabic‑English translations for a variety of client projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. You will work closely with our recruitment and client services divisions, supporting the organization’s multilingual communication needs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, proofread and edit documents from Arabic to English and vice‑versa, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Deliver completed translations to clients on schedule, providing evaluations of the work.
• Maintain a valid translator’s stamp or identification as required by the employer.
• Participate in qualification exams to confirm translation competence and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand client requirements and adapt translation style accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of professional translation experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills.
