Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join ALBASEM Hotel Apartments in Amman. The role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact, delivering professional and courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations, changes, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms.
• Maintain accurate and confidential guest records and reservation details.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and coordinate daily payment records with accounting.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns courteously.
• Coordinate room readiness, housekeeping, and maintenance requests with the operations team.
• Prepare clear shift handovers and daily arrival/departure updates.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of front‑desk experience in a hotel or hotel apartments.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
• Experience using reservation or property‑management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a guest‑focused attitude.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends.
