About the role
The Head of Mission will oversee Children Not Numbers’ Medical Evacuation Programme in Jordan, coordinating the safe transfer of children from Gaza to specialist care. Reporting to the Founders and Global Programme Manager, the role ensures seamless operations, clinical support and partnership management across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Jordan mission’s day‑to‑day operations.
- Supervise a small team of two clinical and two administrative staff.
- Coordinate with founders, global programme manager, directors, out‑of‑country medical evacuation coordinator, finance manager, partner hospitals, the Ministry of Health, WHO and other agencies.
- Organise and monitor medical evacuations, admissions, treatment pathways and follow‑up care.
- Travel within Jordan as required to support field activities and partner engagements.
- Provide regular operational reports to senior leadership.
