About the role
The Housekeeping Supervisor leads the housekeeping team in a hotel environment, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and cleanliness standards exceed guest expectations. This role combines team leadership, quality control, and guest service to maintain a high‑standard hospitality experience.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas to ensure compliance with IHG standards.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members while monitoring performance, attendance, and grooming.
- Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies, equipment, and storage areas are well‑organised and maintained.
- Coordinate with other departments to report maintenance issues, manage lost & found items, and support smooth hotel operations.
