Recreation Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Recreation Supervisor to lead and coordinate recreational activities for guests at our hotel in Amman. The role involves creating activity agendas, promoting a fun atmosphere, and ensuring safety and quality of the recreational facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish recreational activity schedules and advertisements using publishing software.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and report low stock to management.
• Recruit, register and schedule guests for various recreation programs.
• Provide guests with information about facilities, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Support management in training, motivating and coaching staff, and serve as a role model.
• Process guest transactions, collect payments and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in recreation or hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Any additional certification required by local authorities for recreation and fitness equipment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with publishing software for creating activity agendas.
