Information Security Analyst

About the role

Support the Information Security team at Royal Jordanian by monitoring security activities, reviewing alerts, documenting incidents and helping to protect the airline’s information systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor networks, systems, applications and security platforms for threats, vulnerabilities and suspicious activity.
• Review security alerts and escalate potential incidents according to procedures.
• Assist in investigating, documenting and reporting security incidents and breaches.
• Record identified vulnerabilities and follow up with relevant teams on remediation.
• Research emerging threats, attack methods and active cyber‑crime campaigns.
• Prepare threat summaries and recommend preventive actions in coordination with senior staff.
• Support implementation, configuration, monitoring and testing of security technologies and controls.
• Review access requests to systems and applications in line with policies.
• Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of security policies, standards and technical documentation.
• Prepare security reports, findings, statistics and status updates.
• Participate in security awareness activities and campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities and security controls.
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems, servers, databases and applications.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in documentation and report writing.
