Infrastructure Administrator and Oracle DBA

About the role

The Senior System Administrator & Oracle DBA will own the full technical environment, including databases, middleware, security, monitoring and deployment support. You will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness across production, UAT, staging and development environments.

Key responsibilities

• Take full knowledge transfer (KT) and ownership of all environments (Production, UAT, Staging, Development).
• Administer Oracle databases: monitoring, backup validation, performance tuning, user/access management and troubleshooting.
• Support Oracle middleware components such as WebLogic, SOA Suite, Service Bus, BPM Suite, ADF, APEX, ORDS, WebCenter Portal and Content.
• Maintain identity and access management tools including Identity Governance, Access Management and Unified Directory.
• Operate monitoring and security tools like Enterprise Manager and Audit Vault/Database Firewall.
• Document architecture, server details, integrations, deployment topology, certificates, scheduled jobs and dependencies.
• Prepare runbooks, handover checklists, access matrices and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with application, BA, development, integration and support teams during transitions.
• Identify infrastructure risks, gaps in documentation or access and support post‑KT stabilization.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in system administration, Oracle database administration and Oracle middleware support.
• Strong hands‑on Oracle DB administration experience.
• Proven experience with Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware platforms.
• Background in large‑scale enterprise or government e‑services environments is a plus.
• Experience in production support, troubleshooting, deployment coordination and environment management.
