Infrastructure Systems Operations Administrator

About the role

Orange Jordan is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Operations Administrator to ensure the reliability and availability of its IT services. The role involves managing both Windows and Linux environments, supporting virtualization and container platforms, and providing 24/7 operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor operating systems (Windows, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Solaris) and ensure high‑availability.
• Manage VMware virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and backup services.
• Maintain hardware platforms from Dell and HP.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking components (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, VPN) and protocols (NFS, CIFS, FTP, SFTP, TELNET, SSH).
• Administer Active Directory – users, groups, computers, OUs.
• Automate tasks using Perl, Shell, Ansible and develop scripts as needed.
• Monitor production environments, resolve incidents, and perform proactive system upgrades.
• Deploy new clients, manage Windows Server updates, security patching, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Administer antivirus, EDR, and EPP solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and manage DevOps tools infrastructure.
• Document operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or MIS.
• Up to 2 years of experience (fresh graduate acceptable).
• Basic understanding of hardware, VMware, OS management (Windows & Linux).
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with large‑scale corporate IT services and project management.
