Internal Sales Engineer – Instrumentation

About the role

Technical Services Bureau Co. (TSB) is looking for an Internal Sales Engineer – Instrumentation to join its sales team in Amman. The role involves supporting the full sales cycle for instrumentation and automation solutions, from analysing customer requirements to delivering technical and commercial proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer inquiries, specifications, datasheets, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Select appropriate instrumentation products for flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical measurement and automation applications.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations, compliance statements and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on product selection, pricing, delivery and technical clarifications.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and provide technical support.
• Follow up on quotations, manage opportunities in the CRM/ERP system and ensure order execution with procurement, logistics, service and finance teams.
• Assist the sales team in preparing tenders, presentations and product comparisons.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2–3 years of experience in internal/technical sales, process instrumentation or industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation and process measurement principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, datasheets and engineering documents.
