Lab Chemist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Lab Chemist to join our team in Aqaba. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to perform high‑quality chemical testing and analysis while supporting our quality assurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tests and analyses with high accuracy, following established methods and quality standards.
• Utilise a range of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment, recording data in accordance with guidelines.
• Determine chemical and physical properties of products, and prepare solutions and reagents for testing.
• Test product samples to verify conformity with specifications.
• Clean, sterilise, and calibrate laboratory instruments according to internal procedures.
• Ensure analytical results meet laboratory requirements and are delivered within target times.
• Participate in PTP programmes and follow up on SQC completion to maintain internal quality systems.
• Produce final Certificates of Quality following client and Bureau Veritas/Inspectorate standards.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations, including QHSSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline.
• Fresh graduate to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to be based in Aqaba.
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
