About the role
The Laundry Runner supports the Housekeeping and Laundry teams at a busy hotel in Aqaba. You will ensure room status information is accurate, coordinate cleaning priorities, and act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry.
Key responsibilities
- Run sold‑room reports, verify room status and identify any discrepancies.
- Prioritize cleaning of vacant dirty rooms and assign rush or previously “Do Not Disturb” rooms.
- Prepare and distribute daily room assignments to housekeeping staff.
- Maintain and update the list of “Do Not Disturb” rooms.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in coordination with the Front Desk.
- Assist housekeeping management with daily operational activities.
- Complete required housekeeping paperwork and follow all safety, security and company policies.
- Provide courteous guest interactions and uphold quality standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related housekeeping, laundry or hotel operations experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
