Life Cycle Engineer – SD‑WAN, Palo Alto & Routing Specialist

About the role

As a Life Cycle Engineer at SITA you will act as the L3/Expert/SME for the company‑managed Versa SD‑WAN solution. You will be the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring the design, deployment and ongoing support of LAN, WAN and security services across airport environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of network and security services from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Implement, deploy and provide L2/L3 support for airport network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls and Versa SD‑WAN.
• Configure, monitor and operate firewalls, SD‑WAN, wireless LAN and related devices.
• Plan, deploy and deliver network‑related projects, especially global SD‑WAN roll‑outs.
• Oversee managed services for LAN, WAN, security and SD‑WAN, ensuring optimal configurations.
• Participate in customer meetings, provide performance reports and project updates.
• Perform incident management and high‑priority troubleshooting within SLA timeframes.
• Provide occasional out‑of‑hours technical support and respond to alerts.

• Experience working with airport or similar mission‑critical network environments.
• Capability to handle high‑priority incidents and provide timely resolutions.

Required skills

• LAN, WAN and SD‑WAN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Versa SD‑WAN solution expertise.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, optional EIGRP and QoS.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
• Firewall technologies: Cisco ASA and Palo Alto.
• L2/L3 network support and incident management.
• Network device configuration, monitoring and security management.
