Lifeguard – Full-Time

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Lifeguard at our pool facility on Dead Sea Road in Sweimeh, Jordan. You will ensure the safety of guests while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers, identify distress, and perform rescue techniques when needed.
• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and support until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Assist guests with disabilities and respond to service requests promptly.
• Inspect equipment for defects and ensure proper operation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR certification and First Aid certification.
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Willingness to follow company policies and maintain a professional appearance.
