Security Forces Armorer Support

About the role

The Security Forces Armorer Support contractor will provide subject‑matter expertise to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, ensuring base security and weapons readiness across multiple Middle‑East locations, including Muwaffaq‑Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accountability, protection, issue, and receipt of all firearms, communications equipment, and related assets.
• Account for, issue, and forecast annual munitions requirements for operations.
• Lead armorers, develop Standard Operating Procedures, and coordinate daily armory tasks.
• Perform weapons maintenance and parts management in accordance with Air Force processes.
• Serve as primary or alternate custodian for armory equipment and ensure cleaning of unassigned weapons.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years experience managing a Department of Defense (DoD) armory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a government‑issued driver’s license.
• DoD‑approved SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to pass medical screening per CENTCOM deployment standards.
