Manufacturing Quality Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Technician provides timely quality support to the production floor, ensures that manufacturing standards are respected, and manages non‑conformities with appropriate corrective and preventive actions. The role is central to maintaining compliance with PMI, legal, environmental, health, safety and sustainability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support production teams by delivering quality guidance, troubleshooting DIM issues and assisting with trial runs.
• Share knowledge with Quality Champions and train floor staff on quality practices, procedures and new requirements.
• Coordinate sampling and testing of RRP product samples according to the sampling plan and control strategy.
• Investigate non‑conformities and deviations using OPEN+ problem‑solving tools, support decision‑making on release or destruction of non‑conforming items, and monitor related costs.
• Participate in the creation, review and training of procedures, work instructions and other quality documents; ensure batch records are available before production.
• Propose and follow‑up continuous improvement ideas, analyze data and contribute to small projects that influence product quality.
• Support materials management to improve DIM performance, machine efficiency and production costs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of open actions, non‑conformities and corrective actions in the relevant database.

Required profile

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality assurance.
• Familiarity with regulatory, environmental, health, safety and sustainability standards applicable to production.
• Ability to investigate and resolve non‑conformities, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with production, engineering and quality stakeholders.
