Math Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in West Amman, is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join its bilingual (English‑Arabic) Pre‑K‑12 community. The successful candidate will deliver mathematics instruction in line with the International Baccalaureate programme and uphold the school’s values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline and educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for the appropriate year groups following the IB curriculum.
• Prepare and mark written and subject‑specific assessments, including demo classes for faculty recruitment.
• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the school’s assessment and academic honesty policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and uphold all AA policies, including child protection and inclusion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB setting.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of the IB system is advantageous.
