Math Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, a leading IB World School in Jordan, is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join its bilingual (English‑Arabic) faculty. You will teach students aged 3‑19 across primary and secondary levels, delivering the International Baccalaureate mathematics curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons in line with the IB framework and school standards.
• Prepare and mark subject‑specific assessments, including written and demo classes as required.
• Participate in multiple interview stages, written assessments, and faculty demo sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school’s values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect, discipline, and educational excellence.
• Read, understand and apply school policies (Child Protection, Inclusion/SEN, Academic Honesty, etc.) and IB Programme Standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with the IB system is advantageous.
