Mechanical Estimation Engineer – HVAC & Plumbing

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Estimation Engineer with strong HVAC and plumbing expertise to support US‑based projects while working remotely from Jordan. The role involves translating design documents into accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC duct, pipe, and plumbing systems, including accessories.
• Generate detailed cost estimates using the company’s estimation software.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.
• Select appropriate materials, connections, and system components.
• Conduct extensive Excel calculations and prepare reporting documents.
• Assist the tendering and pre‑construction teams with estimate reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical estimation covering both HVAC and plumbing.
• Solid understanding of HVAC and plumbing system design.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings.
• Hands‑on experience with takeoff and estimation software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent English communication.
