Senior Audio‑Visual Systems Engineer

About the role

WSP is looking for a Senior Audio‑Visual Systems Engineer to join its Amman office. The role involves designing and delivering high‑quality AV and related ELV solutions across a variety of building projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AV and ELV technology solutions from concept through construction.
• Prepare and coordinate design deliverables such as specifications, drawings, calculations, schedules and technical reports.
• Support client engagements by translating requirements into technical recommendations, conceptual solutions and project estimates.
• Collaborate with BIM engineers and technicians to ensure digital delivery of AV systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage assigned tasks to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 7–12 years of post‑graduate experience in AV systems design and coordination.
• Industry‑recognized AV certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS‑D, CTS‑I) are desirable.
• Proven experience delivering AV designs through concept, schematic, detailed, tender and construction phases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.

Required skills

• AV design and simulation software such as EASE and Vectorworks.
• BIM coordination for digital delivery of AV systems.
• Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.
