Medical Staff Services Supervisor

About the role

The Medical Staff Services Supervisor will support the daily operations of the Medical Staff Office, ensuring accurate credentialing, privileging, and record‑keeping for all medical staff. The role also facilitates communication between medical staff, administration, and other departments while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and privileging processes, including application collection, primary source verification, and documentation management.
• Maintain and update the medical staff database with licenses, certifications, privileges, appointment status, and expiry dates.
• Support medical staff committees by preparing schedules, documentation frameworks, and communication protocols.
• Review and ensure readiness of medical staff policies and procedures for implementation.
• Monitor regulatory, accreditation, and licensing requirements to guarantee compliance.
• Assist with onboarding of medical staff, providing orientation to systems and workflows.
• Liaise with medical leadership, legal, and IT to resolve interdependencies before operational launch.
• Oversee day‑to‑day office functions, including membership record maintenance and adherence to professional conduct policies.
