Multi-Property Reservation Agent

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Multi-Property Reservation Agent, handling reservation requests for our hotels in Amman. You will be the first point of contact for guests calling, faxing, or emailing to book, modify, or cancel stays.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document special requests and accommodate guest requirements.
• Enter reservation data accurately into the reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale bookings.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a reservation or booking system.
• Strong telephone etiquette and clear, professional communication.
• Basic data‑entry accuracy.
