Procurement Associate

About the role

The Procurement Associate supports the organization’s purchasing and supply‑chain functions by sourcing goods and services efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with company policies. The role ensures uninterrupted operations through supplier management, purchase request processing, and delivery monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end procurement activities for assigned categories, from sourcing to contract closure.
• Identify suppliers, obtain quotations, and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time, complete deliveries and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and purchase‑order cycle time.
• Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, QA, and Logistics to meet business requirements.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Assist with tendering, RFQs, RFPs, and contract‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all organisational levels.
• Clear, concise, and influential written communication.
• Creative, resourceful, and solution‑focused attitude.
