Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert serves as the primary point of contact for all guest recreation activities at the property. This role ensures guests enjoy a safe, fun, and well‑organized environment across pools, beaches, fitness centers, game rooms, and children’s activity zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information about available recreation facilities and promote participation.
• Recruit, register, and schedule guests for various activities.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for rentals and services, and perform cashier duties.
• Assist with private functions, group events, and special activities.
• Monitor guests for safety concerns, report accidents, and support injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Deliver courteous guest service, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb independently (heavier items with assistance).
• Strong observational skills to identify safety hazards and respond appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Capability to work in varied environments, including narrow, elevated, or slippery areas.

Required skills

• POS system operation and cash handling.
• Basic computer usage for data entry and transaction processing.
• Reading and visually verifying information in small print.
