Regional Rehabilitation Specialist – Mashriq

About the role

The Regional Rehabilitation Specialist will support the development and revision of operational and sectorial strategies for Humanity & Inclusion’s Mashriq programme. The role focuses on rehabilitation, inclusive education, psychosocial support and economic inclusion across Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria, ensuring programmes adapt to evolving contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in shaping the operational strategy and updating sectorial strategies, especially for Lebanon.
• Coordinate with the Technical Head of Program to ensure quality and impact of rehabilitation and inclusive education projects.
• Oversee a delegation system that monitors project implementation and results in each country.
• Support capacity‑building activities for partners delivering Education in Emergencies and inclusive services.
• Monitor budgets, reporting and compliance with HI policies and donor requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best‑practice documentation across the Mashriq region.

Required profile

• Significant experience in rehabilitation, inclusive education or related sectors within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to work across multiple countries and coordinate multi‑stakeholder teams.
• Strong analytical, reporting and strategic planning skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
• Willingness to travel within the region as required.
