Sales Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Sales Manager will join the Grand Hyatt Amman team to build a high‑performing sales department, meet and exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets, and expand the hotel’s network of key decision‑makers. This role focuses on driving revenue across all hotel streams while ensuring excellent service standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a structured, timely personal business plan in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
  • Maintain complete records of all sales agreements, contracts and quotes.
  • Achieve targets for new active accounts, room nights, banquet covers and overall revenue.
  • Support staff needs across divisions based on hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.
  • Understand contribution margins for each product and work with department heads to maximise operating results.
  • Maintain an efficient manual and electronic filing system, including management of Opera records.
  • Plan and conduct meetings that are results‑oriented and efficient.

Required profile

  • 2‑3 years experience as a Sales Executive or 1 year as a Sales Manager in a 5‑star hotel in Amman.
  • Charismatic leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; a second language is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and common‑sense abilities.
  • Ambitious, eager to learn and grow within the hospitality sector.
