About the role

BARE is looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join its kitchen team in Amman. This entry‑level position supports daily food preparation, assembly, and station upkeep, ensuring smooth service and consistent quality.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes.
• Assist in preparing simple components and assembling bowls during service.
• Maintain portion accuracy, presentation, and station cleanliness.
• Support opening and closing tasks, keeping the station stocked.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food‑storage standards at all times.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of kitchen experience or a strong willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and a reliable, team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knife handling and food‑prep techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
