SATCOM Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Support

About the role

We are looking for a cleared professional to join C3EL’s team in Amman, Jordan, providing day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of tactical and commercial satellite communication terminals. The role ensures reliable satellite connectivity for mission‑critical applications while adhering to strict security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain satellite modems, redundancy switches, up/down converters, HPAs, LNAs, LNBs and associated cabling.
• Service antenna systems, including motors, SSPA, ACU, waveguide joints and HVAC units.
• Perform diagnostics using TMDE tools such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, Firebird testers and volt meters.
• Generate and update technical documentation for SAR, GAR, TSR and ASI requests.
• Support UPS and generator systems to guarantee uninterrupted power.
• Travel up to 10 % to support mission requirements.

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience with satellite communications equipment in a tactical environment.
• DoD 8140‑approved certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+) or equivalent education/training.
• Valid U.S. passport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TDMA/FDMA satellite modems (military and commercial).
• Knowledge of antenna controllers, SSPA, LNA/LNB, up‑ and down‑converters, fiber‑optic, coax and Ethernet cabling.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, power meters and other TMDE equipment.
• Ability to read and produce technical documentation for SAR, GAR, TSR and ASI.
