About the role
IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Data Officer to support its occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) team in Amman. The role is a six‑month fixed‑term contract starting 1 August 2026, focusing on data collection, management, analysis and GIS within a humanitarian context.
Key responsibilities
- Support the oPt team in Amman with data collection, management and analysis activities.
- Maintain and update GIS datasets relevant to humanitarian operations.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across projects.
Required profile
- Proven experience in data collection, management and analysis, preferably in humanitarian settings.
- Strong knowledge of GIS tools and spatial data handling.
- Ability to work onsite in Amman for the contract duration.
