Senior Draftsman – APC Projects (Ghor Alsafi, Jordan)

About the role

Haskoning is seeking an experienced Senior Draftsman to support critical infrastructure projects for the Arab Potash Corporation (APC) in the Dead Sea area. You will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring high‑quality drawings throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Create, revise and coordinate detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with client, project and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers and other disciplines to maintain drawing consistency.
• Prepare tender, IFC, construction and as‑built drawings, and manage drawing registers and revision tracking.
• Mentor junior drafters and allocate drafting workloads according to team expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior drafter in civil, architectural or mechanical projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and BIM principles.
• Ability to guide junior staff and ensure quality assurance throughout the drafting process.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and drafting standards/QA‑QC procedures.
• Experience preparing mechanical layouts (pumps, motors, compressors, valves, skids, pipework, supports).
• Ability to develop instrumentation and control layouts, including field instruments, panels, tubing and PLC/SCADA interfaces.
