Senior Frontend Engineer – Next.js & Tailwind CSS

About the role

Viero is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and build fast, responsive web applications that power fleet‑dependent businesses across the MENA region. You will own frontend architecture decisions, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and ensure a seamless user experience on all devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js.
• Create responsive, accessible, pixel‑perfect UIs with Tailwind CSS, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Implement and optimise Server‑Side Rendering (SSR) and Single Page Application (SPA) architectures.
• Develop Progressive Web Apps (PWA) with offline support and performance best practices.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs efficiently with backend teams.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimal performance across devices.
• Participate in code reviews and champion frontend best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level frontend engineers.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Tailwind CSS, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Solid experience with SSR, SPA, and PWA architectures.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and independent work skills.
