Senior IT Audit Associate

About the role

KPMG is seeking a driven Senior IT Audit Associate to join its growing IT Audit team in the Middle East. You will help assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, support audits of information systems, and contribute to strengthening the firm’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supervisors and managers in planning and executing IT audits.
• Conduct walkthroughs of IT environments to evaluate entity‑level controls.
• Test General IT Controls (GITCs) and IT Automated Controls (ITACs).
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to collect audit evidence.
• Prepare clear audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Identify and report control gaps.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, IT risks, and best‑practice auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, AI, Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant experience auditing IT systems and automated business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and business processes is a plus.
• Team‑oriented with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
