About the role
We are seeking a Senior Non-Key Expert to provide technical assistance on macroeconomic and fiscal analysis, structural reforms, economic resilience and evidence‑based policy development for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reform analyses for Egyptian partner entities.
- Prepare economic assessments, policy analyses, background papers and recommendations.
- Support the development of evidence‑based economic policies to enhance competitiveness and resilience.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in economics, macroeconomics, public finance, development economics or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluent English (C1); Arabic highly desirable.
Required skills
- Experience analysing macroeconomic, fiscal and structural reform policies.
- Ability to prepare economic assessments and policy recommendation documents.
- Understanding of economic resilience, competitiveness and reform programmes.
