Senior Plant Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Dar Al Dawa is looking for a qualified Senior Plant Maintenance Engineer to join its Engineering & Projects Department. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of production machinery in a pharmaceutical environment, supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to the monthly schedule.
• Execute corrective and predictive maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Identify required spare parts and coordinate procurement with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide technical advice to the Production Department to improve equipment efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and periodic maintenance of new equipment.
• Coordinate with Production and Projects teams on machinery operation and maintenance matters.
• Support maintenance engineers and technicians in completing maintenance activities.
• Communicate with suppliers and technical workshops regarding spare parts and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with general maintenance practices and PLC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
