Senior Project Engineer - Project Management

About the role

Dar, a member of the Sidara group, is looking for an experienced professional to lead the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle for high‑value engineering consultancy projects, focusing on Project Management, Construction Management and Supervision services. The role bridges client requirements with winning proposal strategies and ensures a smooth transition to delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full bid process from opportunity assessment through submission and post‑submission activities.
• Develop compelling bid strategies, win themes and value propositions aligned with client needs.
• Coordinate contributions from technical, commercial, market and communications teams to produce integrated proposals.
• Review and analyse Requests for Proposal (RFPs), identify scope, risks and assumptions.
• Establish bid plans, define responsibilities, set review gates and manage timelines.
• Conduct initial review of contractual Terms & Conditions, flagging commercial and contractual risks for specialist review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in proposal or bid management within engineering or construction consultancy.
• Strong project management capability and background in construction management.
• Commercial acumen with ability to assess financial and contractual implications.
• Understanding of pre‑contract and post‑contract consultancy activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
