Senior Software Quality Engineer

About the role

Quality Professionals (Q-Pros) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join its growing team across the Middle East. The role focuses on ensuring the highest level of software quality through comprehensive testing and close collaboration with development and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and specifications to identify gaps and ambiguities.
• Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios and detailed test cases.
• Execute functional and non‑functional manual testing, documenting results.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify issues and improve quality.
• Report, track and manage defects using Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools.
• Prepare and distribute testing reports and metrics.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality control and testing.
• Professional testing certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
