About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Officer in Logistics to support its Research & Development and Product Development operations in Amman, Jordan. The role will manage the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring that R&D teams receive the right materials and services on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end SAP procurement cycle, from creating Purchase Requests for raw materials, APIs, excipients, components and tooling to issuing Purchase Orders and confirming receipt.
• Raise Service Requests for external vendors, contractors and specialist groups, coordinating procurement for clinical studies and third‑party testing.
• Review vendor quotations, verify commercial terms, pricing and delivery milestones, and ensure Purchase Requests are correctly formatted.
• Act as the first point of contact for Purchase Request issues, troubleshooting discrepancies and removing approval blockers.
• Maintain Purchase Requests as living documents, updating specifications, quantities and formulations throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or procurement within a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, working closely with supply chain, finance and R&D teams.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
