Storekeeper (Hospitality)

About the role

The Storekeeper will support Marriott’s hospitality operations by receiving, staging, and managing merchandise and perishables across multiple departments. This full‑time position ensures inventory accuracy, food safety, and a clean, organized storage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for proper placement.
• Stack received goods on pallets or carts and deliver them to the appropriate areas.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, notifying supervisors of low stock.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and maintain food‑safety standards.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
