Storeroom Technician

About the role

The Storeroom Technician supports the rations supply and warehouse operations for a 24/7/365 food service environment. Working closely with the Storeroom Supervisor and Dining Facility Supervisors, the technician ensures that all food and material handling processes meet strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle subsistence and material receiving, inspection, storage, and inventory management.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of the rations warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with AFI 34-239, AFMAN 34-240, Tri‑Service Food Code, and HACCP procedures.
• Monitor and report on other country nationals per AFCENT‑I 32‑1002.
• Safeguard government and contractor property, including equipment and tools.
• Accurately complete time‑reporting and timesheets.
• Perform escort duties and other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
• Valid U.S. passport and U.S. or local driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 operational environment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (up to 10 K lb capacity) and certification.
• Manual‑transmission vehicle operation.
• Serve‑Safe certification.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations (Tri‑Service Food Code).
• Inventory management and record‑keeping.
