Storyboarding & Visual Development Instructor

About the role

PG Academy is seeking a part‑time Storyboarding & Visual Development Instructor to guide students in turning written ideas into clear visual plans. The role supports the AI Animation, Filmmaking, Games, and Advertising programs and is based on‑site in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Teach storyboarding fundamentals, visual storytelling, shot composition, camera angles and visual continuity.
• Guide students through sequential storytelling, moodboards, style frames, and character/environment visualization.
• Instruct on shot planning and translating scripts into visual sequences.
• Introduce AI‑assisted concept art and AI‑generated storyboard development using tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney‑style workflows, ComfyUI, Runway, Kling AI and Photoshop.
• Ensure consistency of characters and visual elements across AI‑generated assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years professional experience in storyboarding, concept art, animation, filmmaking, advertising or visual development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating storyboard or visual‑development work.
• Solid understanding of cinematography, composition, visual continuity and storytelling.
• Experience integrating generative AI into concept development (highly preferred).
• Ability to explain visual decisions clearly to beginners; teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
