Systems Engineer

About the role

Falcon Consulting is seeking a Systems Engineer to support client projects across the EAME region. You will work on safety, regulatory compliance and product implementation, translating market requirements into robust system designs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify appropriate regulatory and compliance approaches for target markets and ensure their implementation in product design.
• Define safety requirements to meet functional safety targets.
• Participate in reviews of product component safety architecture and design.
• Perform safety‑related analyses such as FMEA, Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment.
• Evaluate analysis results, propose solutions for system weaknesses and conduct impact analysis of issues and change requests.
• Support the development of system or component test plans and validation activities.
• Attend customer meetings to discuss safety, communicate regulatory requirements and verify compliance.
• Report status of assigned work products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
• Strong technical foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ISO and IEC standards (recommended).
• Testing and analysis experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of FMEA, Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment methodologies.
