Technical and Engineering Director - EPC

About the role

The Technical and Engineering Director – EPC provides operational, technical and functional leadership across EPC and concessions activities, ensuring alignment with organisational standards, business objectives and regulatory requirements. The role drives performance, coordination, compliance, stakeholder engagement and service delivery within the design and technical function while supporting continuous improvement, cost optimisation and quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day design and technical activities within the EPC and concessions environment to ensure efficient execution, compliance with procedures and achievement of operational targets.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, contractors and operational activities to guarantee timely completion of tasks and projects in line with approved timelines.
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, clients and operational teams to ensure smooth communication, issue resolution and alignment on technical and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, regulatory standards, HSE requirements and industry best practices applicable to the EPC and concessions sector.
• Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service standards and quality benchmarks, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare operational reports, technical records, progress updates, cost analyses and management presentations to support decision‑making and audit readiness.
• Support efficient utilisation of manpower, equipment, budgets, materials and other resources to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise operational costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 18 years of total experience, including at least 6 years of relevant on‑the‑job experience.
• Proven experience in the Power, Energy, Combined Cycle Powerplant or Solar industry.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
