Technical Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join WUDUH’s Jordanian operations hub. The role provides front‑line assistance for hardware, software and basic networking issues, ensuring timely and professional service for end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user requests via phone, email or ticketing system and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve system crashes, connectivity problems and software performance issues, including Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Configure new user accounts, devices and applications in line with IT standards and support onboarding of new hires.
• Perform regular software updates, antivirus checks and system inspections; maintain detailed ticket records and IT inventory documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead or System Administrators and collaborate with the broader IT team during incidents or rollouts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Service‑oriented attitude, strong documentation habits and clear communication with technical and non‑technical users.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and follow escalation procedures.
