Test and Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Test and Quality Engineer to join our Agile Scrum team focused on the Content Creators ecosystem. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and fellow Quality Engineers to ensure our platforms deliver a high‑quality, seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and other Quality Engineers within Agile Scrum teams.
• Define and implement testing strategies that improve product quality and reliability.
• Partner with developers to choose efficient, scalable testing approaches.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Support sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when needed to validate new functionality.
• Champion shift‑left testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in both manual and automated software testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java and modern Java features.
• Hands‑on experience testing RESTful APIs and understanding HTTP protocols.
• Proficient SQL skills with PostgreSQL, including joins, subqueries and aggregations.
• Comfortable using Git for version control, including branching and merging.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Ability to work with English‑language technical documentation.

• Java (Java 17) – OOP, Collections Framework, multithreading, lambda expressions, Stream API.
• Selenide for UI test automation.
• RESTful API testing and HTTP protocol knowledge.
• PostgreSQL and SQL query writing.
• Git version‑control operations.
• Agile Scrum methodology.
