Ticketing Specialist

About the role

Trip Away is looking for a Ticketing Specialist to join its travel services team in Amman. You will be responsible for handling daily ticketing operations, from issuing and modifying flight reservations to ensuring accurate fare calculations and compliance with airline rules.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, modify, and cancel flight reservations using GDS or airline systems.
• Calculate fares accurately and ensure compliance with airline policies.
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide travel options, and support visa‑related travel arrangements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date booking records and deliver tickets and itineraries on time.
• Resolve ticketing and reservation issues by coordinating with airlines and partners.
• Contribute to sales targets through upselling and cross‑selling travel packages and related services.

Required profile

• Strong ticketing and reservation experience, preferably in a travel agency or hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Sales aptitude with the ability to promote travel packages and additional services.
• Attention to detail in data entry, fare construction, and itinerary management.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
• Proficiency in ticket sales and reservation systems.
