Analyst – Sustainable Infrastructure (Jordan)

About the role

The Analyst will join the EBRD Sustainable Infrastructure team in Amman, focusing on the Bank’s mandate in energy and infrastructure across Jordan and the wider region. Working under the operation leader and senior bankers, the Analyst supports the full project cycle from origination to monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and monitoring of existing infrastructure projects in Jordan.
• Maintain relationships with public authorities, private operators and international organisations.
• Coordinate technical cooperation assignments and prepare related documentation.
• Assist in due‑diligence visits, financial modelling and drafting of approval documents for new projects.
• Conduct research, market analysis and risk evaluation for project structuring and execution.
• Prepare terms of reference and internal approval paperwork for technical assistance and policy dialogue.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work under guidance of senior staff.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Interest in sustainable infrastructure and public‑private investment.
