Automation Manager – QA & AI Automation

About the role

avertra is looking for an Automation Manager who will own the Quality Assurance function and drive AI‑centric automation across testing and business processes. This is a build‑and‑lead mandate, focused on scaling quality without scaling effort.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the end‑to‑end QA strategy, set quality metrics, and embed quality early in the delivery cycle.
• Design, build, and scale automated functional, regression and performance tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright and related tools.
• Identify and implement AI‑powered automations for testing and business workflows with UiPath, n8n, Camunda, GenAI and other BPMN engines.
• Lead, coach and grow a team of QA and automation engineers, handling hiring and skill development.
• Ensure automation practices meet governance and regulatory requirements of highly regulated industries.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader comfortable unblocking engineers and building frameworks.
• Strong focus on outcomes and risk‑based automation design.
• Experience delivering measurable reductions in manual effort.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, DevOps, leadership).
