Butler - Expatriate

About the role

St. Regis, a luxury hotel brand within Marriott International, is hiring a Butler in Amman. The Butler is the main face of the Butler program, which delivers high-touch, personalized and creative service. The position is full-time and non-management.

Key responsibilities

• Create bespoke experiences and services for guests before arrival, during the stay and at departure, working with other hotel departments.
• Coordinate the efforts of Butler Valets and verify that other departments supporting butler services are ready to meet guest needs.
• Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs proactively and act on them where possible.
• Follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards and maintain a safe workplace.
• Keep uniform, personal appearance and communications professional, and be prepared to stand, sit or walk for long periods and to move, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Required profile

• 6 months of related work experience; no supervisory experience required.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No license or certification required.
• Deep passion for service, uncompromising standards, ability to anticipate needs and impeccable interpersonal skills.
